The Institute of Mathematical Sciences and Physics (IMSP), a degree-granting unit under the College of Arts and Sciences, was one of six National Centers of Excellence in the Basic Sciences that were created on March 23, 1983 by Presidential Decree No. 1416 through Executive Order No. 889. The NCOE’s were established to help advance science and technology in the country, and specifically, to strengthen and broaden the national capability to train scientific leaders and conduct research in the basic sciences.
Everyone is invited to attend a presentation by Advantek, Inc., an ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001 certified company supporting the global production of the world's leading electronics and semiconductor manufacturers, at the Operations Room, Abelardo Samonte Hall, UPLB on September 2, 2013, 10 am.
Mr. Reggie Corpuz, Senior Application Support Engineer and Mr. Michael Jack Pollard, Director of Global Engineering will introduce Advantek to UPLB students for potential Graduate Recruitment & OJT opportunities.
